About us

Beta Trade BV was founded in 1991. Initially with the aim of supporting family in Suriname in setting up companies, purchasing machines, parts and services.

The activities were gradually expanded and the customer base grew and with it the types of industries in which our customers operate.

Our customers are mainly located in Suriname and also in Guyana and the Dutch Caribbean.

The owner and driving force behind Beta Trade is Bart van Ravenswaaij.

Our Expertise

As a technical purchasing company, we have built up a good reputation over the years and we understand better than anyone else what is required of us. 

We strive to unburden the customer so that they can focus entirely on their core business.

If we do not have the right expertise in-house, we can fall back on the technical specialists of our, mostly, regular suppliers.

Transport via sea and air freight

If required, we can organize transport to the destination, this can be done bij either sea freight or air freight. 

For both sea and air freight, we can consolidate your orders, allowing you to save considerable costs.

We work with permanent partners for transport and are therefore assured of their specialism.
